Soril Helviiryn is the unfathered child of Solem Helviiryn, second champion of the house Helviirin, fourth house of Ust Nassad at the time of his birth, the first of the Tendays of Uktar in the year of the Serpent (1826).
On Midwinder day of the same year, the noble houses of Ust Nassad raided Mistledale lands to honor Llolth’s decision for placing House Banre as the first house of Ust Nassad.
Solem Helviiryn was leading the attack of the third phalanx, when he saw her in the moonlight after having plundered nearly every house of her small village. She was a woodelf, with quite savage characteristics, but the fullmoon gave her something exotic in the look. She looked at him, fearing for the worse, but he hesitated. Then she run to the woods. He followed her like a hurricane, ready to slay her in the name of his queen but when he reached and grasped her, he realized that his sword was in the scabbard. Her blood was not meant to be spilled at that night. Queen of the demonweb pits would be unhappy if she was looking at him at that right moment. The moon was shining in her frightened eyes and made him forget Llolth’s rage.
So Tendays first of Uktar, Vulps gave birth to a son. And the only thing she knew was that he would never be accepted in the elven community as an equal. In fact, though everything on him was quite wood-elfish, his eyes were white, drowish ones, with only some minor green spots disturbing the coldness of the pure white lakes that where nested in his eye-cores. Furthermore, his hair were blond, but pale and it took only a year before half of it was turned to white. But not the aged white, rather the healthy drowish one. And though after the first year, she let him sitting quite a long time under the sun; his skin could not give up the paleness. The color was quite above-ground-like and nobody could mistake him. His bold characteristics made him a woodelf alright, but his colors where eerie. In the dark, he could be mistaken as a drow.
She named him Soril and when he was able to speak , she told him the only thing that she knew about his father: His last name was Helviiryn and his soldiers were respecting him. Then, after she was sure that he did learn the ways of the surface, she gave him to Eilistraee. The only way he could live a normal child’s life, as the rest of the above-children were laughing at, but feared him. That was also the only way to be accepted in her clan again. She killed him inside her, hoping that Eilistraee would be a better mother than she would ever be, to a child that bonded in his blood what the goddess would like to be the future. Her followers did tend the child as their own. His drowish heritage was obvious, but as he was growing, the wood-elfish character overwhelmed the dark one. They named him Darthiir the Abban.

ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήΔεν ξέρω το γιατί.. μου μίλησε το κείμενο. Ισως γιατί τρελλαίνομαι να διαβάζω τέτοιου είδους κείμενα.
Μου θυμίζει το γράψιμο αυτό ένα βιβλίο της Ursula LeGuin "Worlds of Exile and Illusion : Rocanon's world, Planet of Exile, City of Illusions".
Thanx :-)
